ESE Staffing Specialist:
Florida Educator Certificate with coverage in Exception Student Education (ESE) required for consideration. Assignment will be at Jefferson County K-12 in Monticello, Florida. This position is a full-time position (7.5 hours per day) with a starting salary of $47,500 with additional compensation based on experience and qualifications. Duties include assisting in the development of all IEP, IFSP, EP or SP documents required for eligible and identified ESE students actively enrolled at the school site; maintaining accurate ESE paperwork and supporting documentation to reflect the appropriate service delivery models and compliance with services for all ESE students as identified on the IEP, EP, IFSP or SP; serving as liaison/trainer to school level staff regarding changes related to exceptional student education in school board policies/procedures, state and federal laws and program services provided by the district; facilitating and providing training to school staff relative to ESE procedures, least restrictive environment, PEER and other issues involving exceptional student education. This position will also support general education teachers to adapt curriculum or learning materials and teaching techniques that meet the needs of any students in the classroom living with a disability.
