Join Us for Grandparents’ Lunch!

There’s nothing quite like the love and wisdom of grandparents, and we are thrilled to celebrate them with a special Grandparents’ Lunch on Monday, September 8th. This annual tradition is a wonderful way to honor the special people in our students’ lives while sharing a delicious meal together.


What’s on the Menu?Guests will enjoy a hearty Southern-style lunch featuring oven-baked chicken thighs, collard greens, and creamy mac & cheese.


Cost & Details

  • Grandparents and special guests: $5.00 per person

  • Students: No cost (covered through Title 1) To help us prepare, please return the RSVP form sent home with your student with prepayment.


Lunch Schedule

  • Pre-K (in classroom): 11:15 – 12:00

  • Kindergarten & 1st: 10:30 – 11:05

  • 2nd & 3rd: 10:45 – 11:20

  • 4th & 5th: 11:00 – 11:35

  • 6th – 8th: 11:45 – 12:20

  • 9th – 12th: 12:25 – 1:00


If you have grandchildren in more than one grade, you’re welcome to stay and enjoy multiple lunch periods.


This event is more than just a meal—it’s a chance to make lasting memories, share stories, and strengthen the bond between students and the special people who cheer them on every day.


We can’t wait to welcome our grandparents and special guests on September 8th for an afternoon filled with love, laughter, and togetherness!
