Our Adult Education Program is designed for adults who are ready to finish their education, strengthen foundational skills, or prepare for their GED. Whether your goal is career advancement, personal growth, or simply checking off an important life milestone, adult education opens new doors and creates new possibilities.
What the Program Offers
Jefferson County Schools proudly offers:
Adult Basic Education
GED Preparation Classes
These courses provide a supportive learning environment tailored to adult learners, helping students build confidence while gaining practical knowledge and skills they can use right away.
Class Schedule
Classes are offered multiple days each week to fit busy schedules:
Mondays & Wednesdays: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Registration Opens: December 15
Classes Begin: January 12
Cost: $45 per semester
